I have the great privilege to be collaborating with Steve Gill, Phil Olley and Stuart Asquith to produce a blog that will honour this great book. We hope to share, however faintly reflected, the magic that we have enjoyed.
I may add that it will have the bonus that since all posts will have at least some relevance to the book readers will be spared my opinionated rantings.
Please do visit and if you can leave a comment about your own experience of Charge it will be greatly appreciated.
Terribly enthused about and excited by your joint venture, John. Looking forward to all form of Charge! related ramblings from you and your Blasthof Society cohorts.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Stokes
Thanks a lot for that info and link, John.
ReplyDeleteNice blog!
See you've got your name in there already, you social climber, you!!!
I have added a link to this from the EvE "other blogs of interst" list.

Ohhh...I don't know John. I rather enjoy your highly individualistic (Unique? Twisted?) point of view. I was kind of bummed out when Phil closed his 18th Cent. blog, so all the best to you and your companeros in this new venture!
ReplyDeleteExcellant ! look forward to this new blog
ReplyDeleteExcellent Blog, duly followed and linked, and already looking good. Looking forward to future posts, as well as, I hope, your usual posts on here. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great blog; but will it be strictly covering 'Charge!' only, or is there any room for 'The War Game' also?

Thank you all for your comments.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry George, but our plan is just to concentrate on Charge. This doesn't imply any lack of enthusiasm for The Wargame. I eagerly bought The Wargame Companion and of course Phil Olley has colaberated with CS Grant in the lovely booklet Raid on St Michel, which uses the Grant Rules.
So perhaps it is time to redress the balance a little and concentrate on Charge.
Sadly, as of today, the link
ReplyDeletehttp://blasthofblog.blogspot.com/ leads to a "blog not found" message.
